Two very exciting things have happened! Firstly I am back running and feeling good! And secondly, I won the bake off against Sam Warriner!
My first run back was10 minutes and every second day I get to increase that by 5mins at a time and so far have felt really
good. I will slowly increase my time until I can run for 30 minutes and
then I will stay at that level for another week or so. It feels great to be
back into the routine of training and starting to think about races and
travel overseas - exciting!
More importantly (haha) on Sunday, Sam and I baked our brownies in front of a big crowd
down at the Falls Hotel. It was fun and on the day we managed to raise $2500 for Christchurch. A big thanks to all my friends, aunties, cousins and
other family, supporters, both my coaches - it was great to have all the
support. Thanks to Sam, Alan Parry, Andrew Sylvester and a big thanks to the judges!
You can go
down to the Falls and buy some of Teresa's gooey Brownie from the menu, and again all the money from the Brownie they sell will go to Christchurch.
So Check out my Facebook page for photos and more info on The Falls cafe - get down there and eat some of my delish Brownie!
