Yesterday I raced to a 7th place finish in Korea. It was my first race in almost 7 months! And only 3 months after surgery and with only 8 weeks of training under my belt. So to say I was a little unsure how it would feel would be an understatement. But in saying that I did go into the race with some clear goals and steps to get me through the race.

I am at present relaxing out by the pool, listening to some mellow tunes and reflecting on an awesome trip. My time in Cairns is almost up! I feel like I have gained a lot from this camp and being here in the heat. Not just physically but mentally aswell, it has been a good booster to get back into the swing of things. I dont want to harp on about the weather but it really has been awesome, apparently we have been lucky as it usually rains a bit up here, being a tropical rainforest and all. B...

This is what I saw on a sign out riding yesterday. I am not quite sure where they got that motto from... but on the other hand our accommodation is certainly an oasis!

Flying in on Sunday and what I have seen so far from being out training, Cairns is not what I thought it would be like. Quite hilly and a lot of bush. But to be honest the only thing I knew to expect was the heat and I am not disappointed.
Camp so far has been great. I cant wait to get a few more days into it and used to...
