First camp of 2011

This Sunday I am off to Cairns for a two week camp. My flight is at 6.50am so it is going to be an early start!
I am really looking forward to this camp, especially the weather, my iphone tells me its 29 degress and sunny!
After Cairns I will pop up to Seoul, Korea for an Asian Cup race before heading back to NZ for a few weeks then off to Boulder and Europe for a few months!
This race is purely just to see where I am at with my Swimming and Biking. The run will just be a steady controlled effor...

April update

I had a great swim on Sunday, from Rangitoto to St Heliers. The weather was fantastic and I had lots of laughs travelling over on the ferry! The conditions were perfect and it made a great change from pool swimming. I was pleased with my time and both my legs and wrists felt good.

Talking of my wrists, I have had minor surgery on both wrists to remove painful cysts. They are feeling better already and it is certainly going to be easier to get out of the pool now, something I have been...

Im back!

So the NZ summer is gone and Autumn is well and truly here. I feel like I have missed out on the last 2 months of great training weather, but I am really not that fussed knowing that now all the training I do will be even better thanks to a successful surgery! (so far)

On that note my training has started to ramp up again and with it comes that familar feeling of being constantly tired.
With the running I have been building up by running every second day and only increasing by 5mins at ...
