Posted by Teresa Adam on Thursday, September 30, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
Planning has begun! I had a great day today catching up with Pete Bennetts my coach and then meeting up with Pete Sanford the sports phyc, it was a re pete! he he. I also had a chat with Pete Pfitzinger! So many Petes.

I had an awesome meeting with my coach this morning. We talked about the races I will target next year and what we learned from the trip this year, what worked and what didn't. It is so exciting.
Looks like my first race back will be a cycle race called the K1 in late October.

Not much to write about sorry.... I have been enjoying my break, but I can feel I am starting to get a bit restless, time to start training again soon. Hopefully.... I will have to ask the coach first.

So, I am really excited to meet up with Pete this week!
We will discuss training and racing for the summer season in NZ coming up and also another overseas adventure next year!
I cant wait to get some goals set and start working hard towards them.

Home!

Posted by Teresa Adam on Friday, September 24, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
Sleep, eat, watch tv, play with Akimi, sleep, eat, watch tv, eat......

Yay I love being home.

I am really enjoying having some time off training. Usually when I have a break I get wound up about putting on weight and getting unfit etc, but this time I really dont care. However I am looking forward to catching up with my coach...

Race day dawned wet, cold and miserable. Start time was 10.45am.
It was a wetsuit swim, luckily we had been wearing our wettys in Germany for the last few weeks so I w...

Budapest!

Posted by Teresa Adam on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
After Lausanne we went back to Germany and I got straight back into training. It was hard at times as the weather had turned cold, but I did my best to stay warm. Before swimming I could never decide if I should put my wetsuit on or not...

Right now I am sitting in the hotel in Budapest! It is a very nice hotel I might add, perfect place to end my overseas trip. The continental breakfast is great!
We left Germany at 6.30am yesterday morning and arrived at around 4pm that afternoon.
I have had ...
