Easy day woohoo

Posted by Teresa Adam on Monday, May 31, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
Well its an easy day today, just a jog, swim and gym to do.... man that actually sounds like a hard day!
The last couple of days have been pretty full on training.
Yesterday (sunday) we did Time Trials on the bike. 20mins uphill, which I enjoyed as I like hill climbing, then 5mins, 2mins, 1mins, 30sec and 2x 12sec, all with rest in between.

Fun times

Posted by Teresa Adam on Sunday, May 23, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
Almost at the end of my first week in Boulder. It has been great! Could not have asked for better weather.
Training has been ok. I have been abit tired the last few days, but that is to be expected at altitude. My left foot has been a little bit sore (I had a cortisone injection to try fix my tendonitis) and now I have a massive blister on my right foot... so I have been running along trying not to land to heavy on either of them, I must look like a fairy :D

Check out my photos page.

Hello from Boulder

Posted by Teresa Adam on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
Hi, I made it to Boulder safely and with no problems!
Our apartments are nice, we are on the third floor, so the first time I climbed the stairs I was out of breath!
Enjoyed my first day of training at altitude, easy bike and swim.
After training I had fun in the giant supermarket, I enjoy grocery shopping so of course I ended up being the last one out....
The weather yesterday was gorgeous! Boulder is such a beautiful place.
Bye for now :)

Not long to go .......

Posted by Teresa Adam on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, In : Teresa's Adventures
I have just arrived back from a weekend in lovely Dunedin where I was involved in "heat testing" - an interesting experience that will hopefully provide information to help me cope with the heat when racing in hot conditions. Today I am off to Wellington for the launch at Parliment House of "Sportconnect", a sponsorship intitiative set up by Hamish and Marissa Carter. (www.sportconnect.co,nz)

I have managed to get a new bike thanks to Ben at Performance Bicycle Tuning - it was a bit of a worr...
