Teresa Adam speaks to us about how surgery has changed her triathlon career for the better.
The young up-and-comer had elective surgery on her calf muscles several months ago after being diagnosed with Compartment Syndrome.
She talks about her surgery and how it's changed her training and future path.
Teresa takes us through her background in the sport and how she got to where she is today, racing in the elite U23 category for New Zealand.

As if taking on World Champion Rinny Carfrae and 7 times Ironman NZ winner Jo Lawn wasn't tough enough - now Sam Warriner is planning a ‘Bake Off' in support of the people of Christchurch.
On Sunday 20th March at 3pm Sam will compete against ITU up and comer Teresa Adam (below) of Auckland.
The two girls have had mouths watering with their Facebook postings of Chocolate Brownie, Vanilla Plum Cakes, Victoria Sponges and all manner of other sweet creations.
